Our Quantum website has been designed to help you obtain insurance coverage for your client's vehicles whilst being driven in Europe.

Chubb are only able to issue coverage via brokers that have UK regulatory approval and we therefore work in partnership with you to facilitate cover.

Quantum is delighted to be one of Chubb's leading Private Client partner brokers in Europe and has been working with Chubb's US brokers and their VIP clients since 2006. If you have any questions, require further information or would like to discuss a client's requirements then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Acceptance Criteria

We are only able to provide cover for certain clients:

Firstly, your client must have a current Chubb USA or Canadian Auto policy in force to enable us to provide cover for the vehicle to be used in Europe.

Secondly, this is only a short-term facility for vehicles being brought to Europe temporarily. The maximum period of cover we are able to provide is 12 months.

The Cover & Cost

The client will receive liability cover which will enable them to drive their vehicles legally on the road whilst in Europe. Normally, the current Chubb US/Canadian policy will insure all physical damage to the vehicle whilst it is in Europe (including transit to and from).

The policy will not cover use for racing, pace-making, speed testing, competitions, rallies or trials or for the carriage of passengers for hire or reward. Some activities are termed 'rallies' but they can be included within the policy, we require full details of each event in order to consider providing cover for them. For most vehicles the minimum premium is £500 which provides cover for one vehicle for up to one calendar month. The premium for each additional month or part thereof is £350.

IMPORTANT NOTE
All premiums exclude local taxes which must be added. These will be communicated to you when a binding quote is provided. The premium must be paid before cover can be bound. We accept all forms of credit or debit cards including American Express. It is against the law to backdate cover, so it is important that a quotation is obtained and coverage bound in advance of the required commencement.
